Mitsubishi and Daikin cold-climate systems for ductless and ducted applications. Modern heat pumps deliver up to 300% efficiency even when outside temperatures fall below zero. We handle everything from single-zone ductless installs to whole-home central systems.
90%+ AFUE boilers for homes that run on natural gas, propane, or oil. A properly installed high-efficiency boiler can cut fuel consumption by 15–30% compared to a standard-efficiency unit. We replace aging boilers and install new systems on new construction.
Licensed master plumber services for water heater installation, drain cleaning, fixture replacement, and residential plumbing repairs. Our plumbing work is backed by the same quality standards we bring to every HVAC installation.
150+ active Vermont homeowners trust us for twice-annual tune-ups, priority scheduling, and discounted repair rates. A maintained heat pump lasts 15–20 years; a neglected one lasts 8–12.
Ductless mini-split and central AC installation for Vermont homes. The same systems that heat your home in winter cool it in summer - no second system required.
Heat pump water heaters cut water heating costs by up to 70% compared to standard electric resistance units. These qualify for Efficiency Vermont rebates and federal tax credits, making the payback period shorter than most homeowners expect.

Yes, specifically because we only install Mitsubishi and Daikin cold-climate models. Standard heat pumps
lose efficiency and output significantly below 30°F. Cold-climate units - the Mitsubishi H2i series and Daikin
Aurora series - maintain rated heating capacity down to -13°F and continue operating (at reduced capacity)
at -22°F. We've been installing these systems in Chittenden County for more than a decade and the
performance in Vermont winters is well-documented.
Heat pumps use electricity to move heat - they don't generate it. In mild to moderate cold, they're
dramatically more efficient than any combustion system. In extreme cold (below -10°F), a boiler or backup
resistance element takes over. Many of our customers use a heat pump for 90% of their heating needs and
keep a smaller backup boiler for the coldest nights. We walk through every scenario before recommending a
system.
Jamie Langlois holds a Vermont Master Plumber license in addition to HVAC certifications. We handle
residential plumbing - water heaters, drain issues, fixture replacements, and new construction rough-in -
under the same roof as your heating and cooling work. You don't need separate contractors for separate
systems.
A single-zone ductless installation typically takes one day - sometimes less. Multi-zone systems or
whole-home ducted installations run one to two days depending on complexity. We schedule installation
dates around your availability and give you a clear timeline before the work begins.
We work with several financing partners and can walk you through options during your consultation.
Efficiency Vermont rebates also reduce the upfront cost on qualifying heat pump and water heater
installations - in some cases by $1,000 or more.
